Street banners are o.k. for short-term events (say, to advertise an exhibition at a museum, a book sale, or a county fair), but I think billboards are more effective. Bus stops? Not much room to advertize there, is there? Street signs: That's like putting posters on telephone poles, illegal a lot of places. I've always wondered why farmers didn't let people nail advertizing (long-term) along their fences (nailing the signs to their fencepoles). Bigger than political signs, but for commercial products. It'd be much needed added income, and no one could complain about too many billboards (because technically they'd not be billboards).
Hi, I am considering doing an ad on a billboard in our local community only thing is these are new billboards and have had some environmental bad press..what do you think?
Well, first concideration in my opinion, allways theres been groups against billboards everywhere, but if the billboards arent in a national protected area, or a reservation or a beatiful place, I´ll say go for it.
I am always attracted by outdoor advertising at bus stops. That help shorten the waitting time. Feel relax and good impression on products. An amateur ;D
First preference I wld like to give to NEWS PAPER ads.. i e Print media... (several healthy reasons) thn TV, Radio....
