I consider myself a pretty intellectual person and i feel that i would not have gotten that message out of the advertisement on the coffee machine. It makes since of course. but when advertising execs are brainstorming and pondering ideas for marketing... there is a fine line between a clearly understood and effective advertisement and an extremely philosophical ad... and this one, snapped that line and completely crossed all boundaries of clarity. LAstly, here is a rule for marketing executives to remember: if it took you more than 5 hours to think it up, dont expect us out here in regular-people's-land to grasp its meaning in the 5 seconds that we pass by it.
